It all starts with a visit. I come to the home, we walk through it together, and we talk about everything that is ahead. Together, we will decide what to do with the home, where your loved one will move, and every step in between.
I am a licensed agent with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Ambassador Real Estate. When the house is ready to sell, I handle the photos, the pricing, and the listing. Your loved one's home is usually the family's largest asset and I make sure to treat it that way.

Together, we will make the best decision for where your loved one will move to, what belongings will go with them, and how to transport all the items safely. I will help sort the rooms, pack, hire movers, and ensure the new home is perfectly arranged so your loved one feels at peace as soon as they arrive.
Once the move is done, I will help with leftover items. This may include donations, an estate sale, or other appropriate actions depending on the situation.
Everyone moves through this situation differently. In my experience, steps usually unfold in the following order:
When you call me, we will discuss the situation, and I will arrange a time to come by for a home visit. We will then walk through the house and discuss options. The conversation will not end until you are comfortable with the next steps and we have a plan to move forward.
The first decision we make is where your loved one will move to. I will connect you with a senior placement advisor who tours communities with you at no cost. I will accompany you on these visits if appropriate. We don't move on to the third step until the best new home has been chosen.
During this step, we will slowly go through your loved one's home. It's important to consider your loved one's feelings as they are often deeply connected to their belongings, making this an emotional and often difficult process. We talk about what matters, what will fit, and what your loved one wants to take with them.
Once items have been chosen to make the move, we go through the rest. We will decide if an estate sale is needed or if we can donate the remainder of the items. This can be a slow or a quick process depending on the situation, but I always go at your pace.
Once the house is cleaned out, I will help take photos, price it competitively, and list it. Again, this process can go as quickly or as slowly as you and your loved ones need it to. I always work with your time frame and comfort level.
